KODAK LOOKS AHEAD TO A BRIGHT FUTURE AS IT EXITS BANKRUPTCY
Another American Icon Eastman Kodak used bankruptcy to restructure it's company to meet the needs of the changing times. As more and more people moved from traditional photography to cellphones and digital devices, Kodak could not keep up with the demands of the future.
Kodak has used the Bankruptcy code to realign itself with the changing technology. Kodak has moved toward personal imaging and document imaging using scanners for business and personal use. The CEO Antonio Perez is very optimistic about the future of the company as he anticipates more than 4,000 employees spanning over 30 nations and over a billion dollars in revenue.
